The base module is the foundation of MFG/PRO eB2. It includes all the functions needed to set up system environment and its master files. In addition, the base module includes system management modules for connecting to different types of databases. It also provides integration with peripheral equipment, such as printers, and enables integration with other applications.

The stock management component serves best to the requirements of companies in production and distribution, where the stock control is an essential part of the business process. MFG/PRO eB2 Manufacturing module regulates all manufacturing activity within the various types of production environment. This module controls all activities on the production floor, from identifying missing parts to reporting labor. Sales and Distribution
The Sales and Distribution module of MFG/PRO eB2 monitor inventory balances and manage purchasing and sales order entry activities. This module provides the seamless management, analysis, planning, and control of activities related to the procurement of raw materials, or parts and distribution of finished goods. Costs are controlled across the supply chain, and supply and demand are effectively managed among distributed operations.
Consignment Inventory add-on functionality to MFG/PRO eB2 defers invoicing and payments until inventory has been consumed. Customer Consignment Inventory extends the sales order process by providing new transactions to ship material and identify it as in-transit or consigned. When the customer notifies the supplier of usages, standard invoice transactions occur.
Supplier Consignment Inventory enables you to plan order, receive, track, and report supplier-consigned material, while at the same time deferring vouchering and accounts payable transactions. When the company notifies the supplier of usage, standard vouchering and accounts payable transactions occur.

Financial Module
MFG/PRO e B2´s Financial module provides multiple company, multiple currency, multiple language, and multiple tax functions suitable for the financial management of enterprises of all sizes. To ensure the full reporting on the financial implications of our company?s activities, our Financial module is seamlessly integrated with the Sales and Distribution, Service/Support Management, and Manufacturing modules.
The flexible period-end/year-end procedures and advanced credit/cash/audit reports and inquiries make these applications fast to implement and easy to operate, even in distributed operations. Improved financial reporting - in compliance with the Romanian regulations - provides increased visibility of financial data.
The addition of new purchasing and work order detail accounts, in conjunction with existing sales and inventory detail accounts, adds flexibility to general ledger account functions.
Linked-site costing has been added, which allows users to specify default source cost sites for items held at multiple sites in one database. Costs can be assigned for items to specified sites, regardless of where the items are produced or stored. For companies with several independent financial units, inter-company accounting enables you to define inter-company accounts by entity. For each entity, separate inter-company debit and credit accounts, sub-accounts, and cost centers are defined.

Transportation Management
Transportation Management adds-on functionalities that improve control over transportation costs and automates the administration of the logistics processes. This module enables users to define and track individual costs associated with the transportation of goods into and out of company locations. It tracks the costs payable to third-party suppliers for the transportation of purchased items from a supplier to a company location, and for shipments of items from a company location to a customer?s or another company location.
Human resources and payment management
Keeping records of the company structure - affiliation to a corporation, subordinate companies, subsidiaries, departments, units, work places or jobs - and generating consolidated reports on various structural levels, the system enables the development of an organization chart and its regular update according to the changes that occur within personnel structures. The system offers data about the decisions taken regarding a particular employee - work category, changes in employment, penalties, promotions, training and specializations in the company, job descriptions, etc. The standard MFG/PRO eB2 package has the capability to highlight the volume of manpower, and to extract specific data related to costs of manpower. Also, the system can keep record of wages in several currencies together with history of exchange rates of currencies; is able to automatically generate bonuses awarded as compensations for the differences in exchange rates for net salaries paid in foreign currency; to automatically update gross salaries and to calculate the wages starting from the net wage in ROL or other currency.
