21 Jan Outsourcing brought 15% of Crescendo’s 2009 business
Crescendo, the IT&C solutions provider registered last year 15% of its 19 million-euro business form outsourcing companies, Marius Tulea, CEO of the company, said.
Thus, almost 2.8 million euros came from outsourcing last year, and for 2010 the manager hopes that outsourcing activities will account for 20% of the company’s business after the end of December, the information security management system developed by the company was SR ISO / IEC 27001: 2006 certificate.
The company founded in 1993 offers outsourcing services for eight years, but Marius Tulea photo) did not specify the names of clients in the portfolio.
“The economic crisis has done nothing but to get ahead of this service, compared to the others. Among the advantages of these services is the alignment of the IT system to the company’s goals, so the company’s employees can concentrate on the core business. At the same time, it is possible to control the costs because if these services are internal and the team leaves a man, the company will have costs for the search and training of the staff. On the other hand, there is flexibility in the business because in an advanced outsourcing version, companies can adjust their spending to the level required by the market situation,” CRESCENDO’ manager told Wall Street.
Tulea believes that last year, the local IT outsourcing market was around 70 million euros, and for 2010 it estimates an increase in the market of about 15-20% because, due to the economy, which still does not show any signs of recovery, more companies will turn to outsourcing.
Although the company has not yet completed its 2009 financial situation, the CRESCENDO’ manager said last year the business remained at a level similar to 2008 when it was about 19.6 million.
“As the most important part of our portfolio belongs to private sector clients, we prefer to go on the same scenario in 2010, the optimistic variant is the turnover level maintaining, with as little impact on profitability as possible”, Marius Tulea also said. In 2008, the company had a net profit of 1.3 million euros.
Among Crescendo’s clients, the public sector has the lowest contribution to turnover, meaning in 2009 about 1-2% of business versus 7-8% in 2008.
The most important competitors of the company on the local IT&C integrated solutions market are S & T, Xerox, IBM and Power Net Consulting.
