Bucharest, 27 January 2009: Crescendo the solution house announces that it is ready to support even more effectively the reduction of its customers’ communication costs after becoming the first Microsoft Voice Ready Partner in Romania at the end of 2008.

With this status, Crescendo Solutions House specialists are certified to implement Microsoft Unified Communications complete solutions. Such technological solutions are among the newest in the world, 2008 being the launching year of the Voice specialization within the competence of Unified Communications Solutions, which includes Instant Messaging and Presence and Messaging, respectively.

In times of crisis, the one who holds the information is the one who will be successful; therefore, the need to have the information quickly makes integrated communication essential. By implementing Microsoft Unified Communications, it is possible for any member of the team to communicate at the level of text, voice, audio or video conferencing with one or more people in the company, wherever they are (both in the country and abroad). There can be “sessions” without all the people involved gathering at an hour in a particular room. It is enough to have a laptop installed on a client application called Microsoft Office Communicator, a pair of headphones with a microphone and an Internet connection, to chat on messenger or “fixed” from anywhere, even from abroad, with people inside the company. Of course, your laptop can also be replaced by a mobile device, a Windows Mobile phone and a Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile client. An important benefit is also the substantial cost reduction, both telephony and travel.

Also, by integrating Office Communications Server 2007 with Exchange Server 2007, the Microsoft Communicator client can know the presence status of any colleague – whether or not he is in the office, in a meeting or in a telephone conversation – some of this information is obtained through the person’s Microsoft Outlook calendar. And at the same time, anyone can find out if, in his absence, he was searched in one form or another.

In the context of an ever-increasing range of IT & C solutions, a decisive factor in choosing the solution and implementation partner is the cost-effective integration of the new solutions with the existing solutions. Also, Crescendo has made a similar implementation to Q’NET International and is currently undertaking a “pilot” to a third company in Romania, followed by other complex projects at the enterprise level.
