11 Apr Let’s UNIFY (the) COMMUNICATIONS
Several years ago, we have been interested in launching the first UC solutions – Unified Communications solutions that sounded like a deaf, underground sound, in the context of an assaulted market, too suddenly, of too many IT & C solutions: software, hardware, business applications, etc. The sound become louder and louder, it became alive and more melodious for the ears of managers interested in the business benefits and the fact that this kind of solutions could bring real benefits to their organization.
However, for many companies, UC is still a confusing topic, a nice but unknown song. As a result, many companies still hesitate, do not know how and where to start.
What you need to know …
A good starting point can even be the definition of unified communications solutions. Gartner defines UC solutions, including here: software, equipment and services as the one that facilitates the use of multiple communication methods within a company while allowing for control, management and integration.
Before making the big step, it is advisable that each company assess their current situation, review their business processes carefully, and develop a vision of how they look ahead – let’s say in 5 years – communication within the company .
About sound integration…
A single sound can not exalt a lot. According to Gartner, each unified communications solution is very good in a few directions. Only integration of such solutions can fully cover a company business needs. The 9th Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven entered history due to the integration, almost brought to perfection, between the sounds of the various musical instruments – the sound of the instruments and the chorus. In our case, it is essential that unified communications solutions can be integrated with both the infrastructure already owned by the company and the solutions of other significant players in the market. Any company that plans to implement a unified communications solution should take this into consideration.
Various communications solutions have been developed, marketed and implemented as separate applications. It is certain that only the convergence of all communication channels on IP networks is the one that will permanently change the way of communication and collaboration among team members, different groups and / or organizations, provoking that expected paradigm shift!
How important is the “bandmaster” in an implementation?
The “bandmaster” is the reference person in any concert; under his wand the times, the rhythm and the dynamics of a musical composition come to life. In such a project, the implementing partner has the wand. A decisive factor in his choosing, “the bandmaster”, is his integrating experience, so that the integration with minimal costs of the new solutions with the already existing solutions can be achieved.

With the solutions provided by the Crescendo Solutions House, customers can unify everything that means communication solutions: instant messaging, VoIP, audio and video conferencing plus – of course, data.
The symphony of solutions…
The experience of integrating Microsoft Unified Communications with Cisco Unified Communications means unifying email, calendar, instant messaging, VoIP telephony, collaborative work with colleagues and business and web partners (audio, video, shared work-place) conferencing, in a single solution. It also helps organizations better adapt/align their business communications to their business processes, integrating unified communications capabilities directly into business-related processes such as CRM, enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise resource management Supply (SCM).
The integrated solution offers a unified workspace that removes barriers to communication. Every member of the team gains the flexibility to get in touch with other people (clients, colleagues, business partners) they need in order to be more productive, with a combination of voice, video, data and mobility applications (from anywhere in the country and abroad, from home, office or car, conference rooms, airports, etc.). An important benefit is the substantial cost reduction, both communication and travel. Shorter, fewer but more productive journeys will have a noticeable impact on the organization’s profit and loss account, both through revenue growth and cost savings.
Many of us are convinced that there are hidden opportunities in the economic crisis we are going through. Integration of unified communications solutions is the way we can materialize such an opportunity: to become more productive with lower costs!
So unify them! Let the music play!
